Senior Manager – Medical Coding & Business Development at VIECTUS

Key Responsibilities:

• Medical Coding Excellence:
• Review and analyze medical records to assign accurate codes using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Showcase expertise in E/M coding, Outpatient (OP), Surgery, Nephrology, and other specialties.
• Conduct coding audits, provide constructive feedback, and ensure high-quality standards.
• Mentor and train junior coders while conducting focused training programs and onboarding sessions.
• Publish newsletters, coding articles, and updates to enhance coder knowledge and expertise.
• Business Development & Client Engagement:
• Actively identify and pursue leads for new projects and partnerships.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring effective communication and project alignment.
• Participate in client calls, meetings, and Knowledge Transfer (KT) sessions to represent VIECTUS effectively.
• Collaborate with leadership to strategize and implement growth opportunities in the healthcare industry.

Qualifications:

• Any graduate (life sciences background preferred).
• Certified in medical coding by AAPC or AHIMA (non-recent certifications preferred).
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in medical coding, auditing, training, or business development roles.
• Proficiency in professional side coding (E/M, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Surgery, etc.) and physician denials.
• Knowledge of RCM workflows and terminologies.
• Strong business acumen and experience in client engagement and lead generation.
