As we aim to expand our operations, we are offering an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Intern to help us identify and secure outsourcing opportunities in the medical coding space.

Role Overview

As a Business Development Intern, you will play a key role in helping VIECTUS secure new medical coding outsourcing projects by identifying potential client companies, understanding their needs, and supporting our business development team in crafting effective proposals. This role is ideal for individuals who are looking to kickstart their career in business development, healthcare outsourcing, and RCM services.

Key Responsibilities
• Market Research:
• Identify companies in the medical coding and RCM space that may require outsourcing support.
• Research potential clients’ needs, challenges, and existing outsourcing partnerships.
• Lead Generation:
• Use LinkedIn, online directories, and other platforms to find potential leads.
• Build a database of target companies and key decision-makers (e.g., Business Development Managers, Operations Heads).
• Outreach:
• Assist in drafting personalized email campaigns and LinkedIn messages to connect with potential clients.
• Follow up on outreach efforts to schedule meetings with prospects.
• Proposal Support:
• Collaborate with the team to draft compelling business proposals and presentations for clients.
• Highlight VIECTUS’ strengths, including our expertise, certifications, and cost-effective solutions.
• Networking:
• Participate in virtual events, forums, and professional groups to connect with industry leaders and potential partners.
• Analysis and Reporting:
• Track outreach efforts and report on key metrics such as lead conversion and project success rates.

What We’re Looking For
• Education:
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related fields.
• Skills:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in LinkedIn, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and online research tools.
• Knowledge of medical coding, RCM, or healthcare industry is a plus.
• Personal Attributes:
• Eager to learn and take initiative.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Interest in business development and healthcare outsourcing.
